Join a streamer’s Twitch experience first. Wallet features are optional and separate from Bits.
Open a streamer’s channel and use the baseLINE extension surface they have enabled. You can watch and use Twitch Bits experiences without creating a baseLINE account or connecting a crypto wallet.
What are the connection points?
- Panel — Appears below the Twitch video.
- Component — Appears inside the Twitch player.
- Twitch Video Overlay — A Twitch extension layer over the video. It is not an OBS source.
- OBS Browser Source — An optional alert source added by the streamer to their own broadcast scene; it does not require viewer setup.
Twitch Bits and wallet features are separate
If the streamer has enabled a Bits experience, use Twitch’s own Bits controls in the extension. Bits activate only the fixed on-stream effect shown; they are not a tip, donation, crypto balance, or payment for anything outside Twitch. No crypto wallet is needed. Optional web wallet actions are separate and require you to review the asset, network, amount, and transaction prompt.
Optional baseLINE account and wallet
If you choose to use a baseLINE web wallet feature, open Connect and sign in using the provider shown there. Wallet creation, recovery, supported networks, and export depend on your Privy account and current app configuration. The Wallet page shows supported balance data, not necessarily every token or NFT.
Recover or export an embedded wallet only through the official Privy Home ↗ flow with the same sign-in account. baseLINE support will never ask you for your private key or recovery phrase.
- Never share a private key, recovery phrase, one-time code, or wallet export with anyone.
- Review the asset and network before approving any on-chain transaction.
- Twitch Bits are not crypto and are not converted into crypto by baseLINE.
- Bits do not provide access to off-Twitch services, subscriptions, NFTs, contests, wagers, or prizes with monetary value.
- If something looks wrong, stop and use the official baseLINE help links; do not follow unsolicited wallet-recovery messages.
