Deploy and manage your own channel token.
A Creator Token is your own custom cryptocurrency that viewers can buy, hold, and trade. Think of it as a digital membership card or loyalty point — the more your community participates, the more valuable it becomes.
Creator Tokens are deployed on Base as ERC-20 tokens. They're fast, cheap, and fully tradeable on decentralized exchanges.
Why Deploy a Creator Token?

- Monetization — Create a new revenue stream beyond tips and subscriptions.
- Reward System — Give token holders exclusive perks, access, or voting rights.
- Tradeable — Holders can trade your token on DEXs like Uniswap and Aerodrome.
Deploy Your Creator Token
Prerequisites
- baseLINE account created and wallet connected.
- baseLINE extension activated on your Twitch channel.
- Some ETH in your wallet for deployment gas (approximately 0.01–0.05 ETH).
Step-by-Step Deployment
- Go to your Twitch Creator Dashboard → Extensions → baseLINE → Settings.
- In the configuration panel, scroll to the Creator Token section.
- Enter your token details:
- Token Name — Full name (e.g., "Shroud's Gem").
- Token Symbol — Ticker (e.g., "GEM"). Must be 2–11 characters.
- Total Supply — Maximum number of tokens that will ever exist.
- Review the deployment summary and estimated gas cost.
- Click Deploy Creator Token.
- Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
- Wait for the transaction to confirm on Base (typically 2–5 seconds).
- Once deployed, your token is live and visible in the configuration panel.
Token Distribution
After deployment, you can distribute your tokens to viewers in several ways:

Managing Your Token
View Token Info
- Token address (view on BaseScan).
- Total supply and circulating supply.
- Current holders count.
- 24-hour trading volume (if listed on a DEX).
Configure Token Settings
- Purchase Button — Enable/disable token purchases in your panel.
- Purchase URL — Link to your token's trading page.
- Minimum Purchase — Smallest amount viewers can buy.
- Maximum Purchase — Largest amount a single viewer can buy.
Trading Your Token
Once deployed, anyone can trade your token on decentralized exchanges on Base:
- Aerodrome — Leading DEX on Base (aerodrome.finance)
- Uniswap — Multi-chain DEX (app.uniswap.org)
Your token has a fixed supply. As demand increases (more viewers buying), the price naturally rises. As holders sell, the price falls. You don't control the price — the market does.
Consider locking a portion of supply for future community rewards or airdrops to grow your audience.
