Complete guide to set up, configure, and grow with baseLINE on Twitch.
What is baseLINE?
baseLINE connects Twitch extension experiences with separate, optional wallet features. Streamers can configure the Twitch placements and Bits experiences available to their channel. Crypto and on-chain actions are separate and always require viewers to review and approve their own transaction.
Watching a stream or using Twitch Bits does not require a crypto wallet. Twitch Bits are not converted into crypto by baseLINE.
Quick Start — 3 Steps
- Choose your guide — Open the streamer and viewer setup page. Account and wallet features are optional for viewers.
- Activate Twitch placements — In Twitch Creator Dashboard → Extensions, install baseLINE and activate Panel, Component, and/or Twitch Video Overlay as desired. Twitch placements are not OBS sources.
- Configure your channel — Open baseLINE’s authorized Configure page in Twitch to choose the available Bits experiences and player style. If you want OBS alerts, copy your own channel-specific Browser Source link there.
What You Get
- Twitch extension — Panel, Component, and Twitch Video Overlay placements, subject to Twitch availability and channel activation.
- Bits experiences — Fixed Twitch Extension effects that the streamer can enable or disable in configuration; Twitch manages availability, confirmation, and fulfillment.
- Optional OBS alerts — A separate transparent Browser Source for eligible crypto-tip events, scoped to the streamer’s channel.
- Optional wallet tools — Privy-backed sign-in and supported wallet features through the baseLINE website; asset/network support is shown in-app.
